"How in the world did it get this far? Didn't we have a budgetary outline set for this!?" The older young exec looked at the monitor on the computer desk before him, watching as the slug girl continued consuming kiloliters of bio-compound.

"The budget was for incidence, not upkeep and maintenance. I would say for her to keep on course, we would have to continue supporting her needs" the younger partner pulled up another display that tracked the slug girls consumption rate and growth rate.

“She already is self sustaining in her own production of the bio active compound, why would we need to supplement her diet?" All he could see were numbers

"Frankly, aside from an occasional chugging of 10 gallon water cooler bottles, she's subsisting entirely on the bio active compounds from our technician Lucy and another technician that has ties with this project" he puled up to profiles of the other slug girls under employ by the company and let his older young partner glance at them.

"At what rate? Surely she isn't downing barrels a day!?" he barely took notice

"We've since stopped counting barrels because it's easier to calculate her growth rate and consumption. It was simply easier to have the barrels sucked in to a bulk storage tank and overhead pump delivery system“

"And?..." his concerns were still not alleviated

"She's achieving a rate of 2241 kilos a day, 15688 a week, at around 815776 kilos a year." the graph he puled up had a relatively even curve with small spikes at different intervals

"And she's outgrown how many housings?" as if still his questions were not answered

"A pool, a barn, a gym, a storage warehouse, and nearly a small airplane hangar. She's close to on track for an old Zeppelin hangar" his eyebrows raised as he was quietly impressed and nodded

"How many years?" its like a checklist should have been submitted

"Two so far, 1631522 kilos to this point"

"...she's enormous...huge..." almost breathlessly

"She probably wouldn't have it any other way" he smiled at the monitor like a proud caretaker of a prize champion

"Do we have any means of moving her?" he turned to a question other than how huge she was getting

"Keeping her in captivity would be out of the question, we have to allow her freedom to travel were she wishes. We could simply let her locomotor on her own but that would be a mess. I'm sure that we couldn’t release her to a freshwater enclosure, she would be a roadside attraction and then what would that say of us and Corporate?" he cast a concerned glance to his partner

"True, but we can't just keep building around her, we have to be able to allow her to move without keeping her constrained." for once he was concerned for her wellbeing

"Well, we could commandeer one of those shuttle crawler platforms and convert it in to some sort of hovering barge. It would be low ground pressure and it would be an excellent mode of transport for her to grow in."

“But her tail though, it would be immense to be able to transport it and all her bulk effectively.” always thinking of the questions that were already thought of by his partner

“We only need to support her bulk, which is entirely her torso, stomach, waist and backside, the meat of it mostly. We can simply allow her tail to follow behind.”

“What about her needs?” he asked

“Once she achieves a certain point, she wont be growing as fast as in the begining. If she was, we would have to give her an increase of the bio-active compound at a comparable rate that matches her growth and consumption. We don’t have that means unless we want to artificially create the compound, and I’m sure we want to keep her organic.”

“Don’t talk about her like she’s chattel; she’s a volunteer subject of huge value to us and the company. She’s going to provide so much research material and data on the uses of her slime. The last we could do is keep her comfortable and allow her the range of free movement without containing her in an enclosure under supervision” his defensiveness was something his younger partner never seen in him before..

“I’m sorry. You’re right, I was too clinical” he closed the charts and simply turned his attention to the table computer.

“Its fine. I guess this whole undertaking has fostered something in me, like I want to protect her, give her anything she needs”

“Lets hope that she enjoys herself, I think that’s a goal we can keep”

She was overjoyed at the sight of the over head reel of purple slime that lay within the grasp of her short reach. carefully cradling the hose with a caress of two, 3 fingered hands, she slowly brought it to her lips and opened the valve.

She was greeted with a strong whipping action as the hose began rushing slime down its length while displacing air, giving her a slight puff in her cheeks,  followed by the crescendo of gurgling from the slime as it finally reached the end of the hose and to the exit of the valve and in to its final destination down her gullet.

She happily burped as the slime quickly displaced the air she had swallowed and continued to dispense the purple slime to her ever ravenous maw.

Her vestigial leg/arms grappled a two fingered grip on a flowing hose that simply had an open end and was spewing out green slime, created by Lucy, all over her now rapidly and increasingly distending belly gut.

Each gulp like suckle visibly rippled down her body, like a pulsing caterpillar making its way across a branch. She guzzled in earnest, not in fear that it would run out, but knowing that it would never end. Her whole body and foot pulsed with a slow beat in syncopation with each gulp she took.
